Online OSCE's

Medicalfinals.co.uk is pleased to introduce a new section to the site. It is this Online OSCE’s section which we aim to build up over the next few months.

OSCE’s feature heavily in contemporary undergraduate examinations so we aim to offer realistic opportunities to practice for these online. The OSCE’s are intended to be appropriate for all medical schools and for a broad range of years.

Each online OSCE will include questions, and answers with the categories in which marks are given clearly demonstrated, as for real assessment processes.

In the longer term we hope to make these interactive with audio-visual footage. This will bring the patient as close to you as possible at your computer.

The following Online OSCE's are now available. We would welcome feedback from all of you as to whether you would like more and if so what type of OSCE’s would you like to see featured.

Station One - Chest X-ray
Station Two - Arterial Blood Gas Interpretation
Station Three - Full blood picture interpretation
Station Four - Abdominal X-ray
Station Five - Cerebrospinal Fluid Analysis
Station Six - Pleural Fluid Analysis
Station Seven - Liver function tests
